Waiward Steel's Engineering Department is staffed by a team of Professional Engineers with engineering expertise in all aspects of structural steel fabrication and erection. Our team is experienced in structural steel  connection analysis and design, welding and fabrication engineering, lifting procedures, quality standards and erection engineering, including fall protection.

Waiward has engineering registration in many Canadian provinces and has engineering experience working with AWS codes and building codes from other countries.

Waiward Engineering strives to be an industry leader through active involvement in standards (S16,W59),  technical societies, and through support of University education and research.
