Waiward Industrial is proud to announce that its 2025 Annual Charity Golf Tournament raised $31,857 in support of the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) – Edmonton Region, reinforcing Waiward’s ongoing commitment to mental health, community well-being, and meaningful impact beyond the job site.

The funds were officially presented during a recent cheque presentation at Waiward’s offices, where representatives from CMHA – Edmonton Region joined the Waiward team to celebrate the collective effort and generosity of sponsors, golfers, partners, and volunteers who made this year’s tournament a success.

Now in its fifth year of supporting CMHA – Edmonton Region, Waiward’s annual charity golf tournament has become a signature event, consistently bringing together industry partners to raise awareness and funds for mental health programs and services that directly support individuals and families across the Edmonton region.

“Mental health matters — on our job sites, in our workplaces, and in our communities. We are incredibly grateful to our sponsors, participants, and the CMHA team for helping us continue to drive meaningful change. This year’s result is a true reflection of what can be accomplished when our industry comes together for a cause that impacts us all.” Said Grace Elliott, Manager of Marketing and Communications and Chair of the Waiward Charity Golf Tournament.

Funds raised through the tournament directly support CMHA – Edmonton Region’s programs, advocacy, and resources aimed at promoting mental wellness, reducing stigma, and providing accessible mental health supports across the community.

Waiward Industrial extends its sincere thanks to CMHA – Edmonton Region for visiting the Waiward offices to receive the cheque, and to everyone who contributed to making the 2025 tournament another outstanding success.

With momentum already building for 2026, more than $30,000 has already been raised for the 2026 Waiward Charity Golf Tournament, once again in support of the Canadian Mental Health Association – Edmonton Region. Waiward is proud to recognize the early commitment of industry partners who have stepped forward to support next year’s event, including AZZ Galvanizing as the Trusted Partner Event Sponsor, Hillcore Group as the Steel Lunch Sponsor, and Linde and Miller as the Steel Breakfast Sponsors.

As planning continues, Waiward Industrial invites additional sponsors and partners to join these organizations in making a meaningful impact. Sponsorship opportunities remain available for the 2026 tournament, offering a powerful platform to support mental health initiatives while engaging with industry peers through one of Waiward’s signature community events. Together, we can continue to drive awareness, reduce stigma, and ensure critical mental health resources remain accessible across the Edmonton region.
