Erin Neilsen
Erin Neilsen joined Waiward in 2019 and serves as Manager, Payroll. With more than 20 years of payroll experience in the industrial construction industry, Erin brings extensive expertise in payroll administration, regulatory compliance, collective bargaining agreements, and workforce support. She is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Waiward’s Payroll Department, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with applicable legislation, company policies, and collective agreement requirements.
In her role, Erin works closely with leaders across the organization to provide payroll reporting, guidance, and support on matters related to payroll, benefits administration, labour relations, and collective agreement interpretation. Her strong attention to detail, commitment to continuous improvement, and collaborative approach help ensure efficient payroll processes and exceptional service to employees and stakeholders alike.
Erin holds a Business Management degree from Okanagan University College and earned her Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation in 2005. She has also completed numerous industry-related courses throughout her career, further strengthening her knowledge and expertise in payroll and workforce administration.
