Paul Devine
Paul Devine joined Waiward in 2005 as a Structural Steel Detailer and has spent the past two decades advancing through senior leadership roles within the organization. Throughout his career at Waiward, Paul has held positions including Quality Control Coordinator, Production Manager, and Shop Operations Manager before being promoted to Vice President, Fabrication in 2025. His extensive experience across fabrication operations provides him with a comprehensive understanding of the business, from project planning and quality assurance to production execution and workforce leadership.
As Vice President, Fabrication, Paul provides strategic and operational leadership for Waiward’s fabrication division, overseeing the Projects, Quality, Drafting, and Estimating teams. He is responsible for driving operational excellence across fabrication activities, supporting project execution, resource planning, estimating strategy, quality performance, and continuous improvement initiatives. With deep expertise in scheduling, structural steel fabrication, quality assurance, safety, and project delivery, Paul plays a key role in ensuring projects are executed efficiently while maintaining Waiward’s commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Paul is a Civil Engineering Technologist and Level II Steel Detailer. He has further strengthened his technical expertise through certifications as a CWB Welding Supervisor and a CWB W178.2 Level II Welding Inspector, bringing a strong foundation of quality, compliance, and fabrication excellence to his role.
